About the Position For more than a decade Uniting has worked with children, young people and their families, particularly those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and isolated. Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for experienced, energetic, and passionate Casual Educators to join Uniting Iluka Early Learning located in Bondi Beach. ABOUT THE CENTRE Welcome to Uniting Iluka Early Learning. We re a friendly community based 70 place Not for Profit Early Learning Centre, caring for children aged 0-6 years. We recognise the many and varied routines of our families. So, we re open from 7 30am until 6 00pm, Monday to Friday, closed only on weekends and public holidays. We are located close to public transport. Uniting Iluka Early Learning specialises in nurturing and providing our kids with A strong sense of identity and wellbeing Effective communication skills Connections with their world Confidence and involvement in their learning. We re looking to welcome Casual Educators to the Uniting Iluka Early Learning team. To join us, you will need to be a passionate Educator, ready and willing to provide strong assistance to our Room Leaders and develop strong relationships with our children and families. You will be required to support the service in the provision of high quality care and education for children while working within the requirements of the National Quality Standard and the approved learning framework whilst contributing to educational programs, facilitating play based learning and maintaining appropriate workplace health and safety. Requirements Completed Certificate III of Children s Services Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF with proven results. A dynamic personality, creativity and a clear passion for early childhood education Ability to think outside the square - we push boundaries and challenge the norm! Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A cooperative team player who loves and respects children in all their individuality and developmental stages.
