The name is translated from add good luck and the single consistent message across the expansion of this brand is to focus on producing affordable, high-quality dim sum. Within a year of opening in 2009, the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star. Utilizing quality ingredients, our dim sum is freshly made-to-order. About the role Chef (Full-Time) Summary Is responsible in the production of food, including, prep work, cooking, presenting and serving in the kitchen of current and other outlets. Ensuring Food Safety and WHS is carried throughout food production. Managing & provide mandatory training to new employees. Maintain a professional food quality and sanitation standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conceptualise new menu items and overall product mixPrepare a variety of foods meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable, and cold food itemsLiaise with suppliers on procurement of ingredientsEstimate and track food costs for management s pricing decisionsMonitor food quality from preparation to presentationCover, date and correctly store food in the store room/cool roomConstantly meet food safety and WHS standards, including regulating temperaturesAssign duties to each Kitchen Section LeaderManage overall process flow in KitchenDemonstrating cooking techniques and advising on cooking proceduresInterview and train new staff selected in specialized Dim Sum skills and general kitchen dutiesPlan labour allocation and wages pertaining to management s budgetAbout the role Cook (Full-Time) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Daily mise en placeProviding all rounder food production, assistance for all sections in the kitchen including pork buns, filling, vermicelli roll, desserts and more.Work with and coordinate works of the Sous ChefsPrepare, cook and present menu items to company s standardsMaintaining Food Safety, WHS and relevant legislative requirements while on dutyEnsuring strict stock rotationAbout the role Restaurant Manager (Full-Time) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Providing the highest level of customer service and enhance customer experienceTaking orders using Point of Sales SystemOpening and closing operation of storesHandling customer complaintsProvide on-going training to new staffManage hiring and oversee rosteringLabour, operations costs vs. salesMaintaining stock control in the restaurantReporting to Management on a daily basisGeneral wait staff cleaning dutiesMaintaining Food Safety, WHS and relevant legislative requirements while on dutyIf any of the above roles suit you (or sounds like yourself), please forward an updated resume detailing your availability and current visa status.
