The Role Due to recent growth and expansion within our wider Structural Engineering section, an opportunity exists for a Diagnostic Engineer to join our Sydney office. A key role within the Structural group, our clients regularly require assistance with their assets and projects, requiring diagnostic and remedial engineering skills. You will be expected to deliver projects for Northrop s existing clients and have the opportunity to help grow the business using your own drive and entrepreneurial skills. You will be supported in your new role by the structural management team and encouraged to actively develop your technical, business and management skills. Key components of this role include, but are not limited to Delivering multiple projects concurrently in a quality, cost effective and efficient manner Contributing to the growth of the Building Diagnostic group in Sydney Client interface and business development Report writing and relevant business reporting You will have the opportunity to take the next step in your career and develop to your full potential, alongside owners of the business. The Candidate A key role within the Sydney Structural Section, you will have access to many opportunities within Northrop and with our support we will help you to develop your career. As the successful candidate you will possess Upwards of 3 years of experience of diagnostic engineering in the local market Relevant tertiary qualifications Thorough understanding of Australian standards and regulations Ability to be highly productive with little oversight from senior management. Able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly Ability to correctly read people, political and business situations and develop, adjust and execute an appropriate business strategy. Utilises creative problem-solving skills and continually finds ways to overcome challenges and obstacles. Works collaboratively with others and works exceptionally well across functional groups.
