About the opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Business Manager to join our Employee Experience team within the Customer, People and Systems directorate, on a permanent full-time basis located at our head office in Sydney CBD. In this rare strategic role, this opportunity will allow you to engage and partner with functional Directors to lead the development and implementation of relevant HR solutions. Key responsibilities may include In partnership, build and implement human resources solutions in line with the Workforce and People Capability strategies to meet strategic and operational business needs Identify opportunities and take a leadership role in the development of strategic initiatives within the human resources environment Lead directly the delivery of recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of human resources Provide strategic and high level operational advice as partners to Directors regarding HR related policies, programs and practices About you You will be an experienced Human Resources Business Manager with at least 8 years experience. You ll be an enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently and, importantly, is not afraid of hard work. Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate Tertiary qualification in a relevant business field or equivalent experience Skilled at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence rather than direct authority Expert knowledge of human resource organisational policies and practices Knowledge of current employment legislation and Employer of Choice practices Demonstrated experience in coaching and relationship building Excellent communication skills and highly service orientated Benefits & culture Uniting is proud to be an EEO employer.
